DO NOT RUN SUMP PUMP HOSES INTO FLOOR DRAINS!
It is against city ordinance to discharge storm water, surface water, ground water, roof water run-off, sub-surface drainage, cooling water or unpolluted industrial process waters into the City’s sanitary sewer. Drainage must be adjusted to avoid water running into the City’s sewer system.
ATTENTION: City employees do spot-check for sump pump drainage issues and fines may apply. Failure to comply with the ordinance is a misdemeanor.
